❀ My brand

Achieving my small business dreams, selling trinkets!

Outcome: Designed branding for my shop, made 200+ pieces to sell online and at markets, making $1500 in three months launching in May 2025

Timeline: since October β€˜24

Petals and Kiln is a storefront I launched in 2024 to sell my handmade ceramics, decorative trinkets and clothing.

As a one-lady operation, I not only taught myself ceramics and stained glass over the course of several months, but also setup market stalls in Atlanta. I hope to bring my work to San Francisco soon! πŸ’—

Enamel pins

After I designed design drafts in Figma, I worked with a popular enamel pin vendor (GS-JJ) to finalize specs and create samples. They manufactured my final design for me as well!

Seeing the colors shift in production became a small but memorable lesson in how digital designs behave once they leave the screen.

Signage

I designed my store banner in Figma and 3D-printed it for my markets. Prototyping and installing it in real life helped me think about materials, constraints, and how design choices and color translate into physical objects.
