Enhancing my childhood bank’s authentication experience for 15 million people

Team: 1 Principal designer, 1 design manager, 5 product owners, many dev teams, 3 researchers
Outcome: Introducing biometric enhancements to Truist sign-ins, and expanding verification XD throughout the bank.

As a long-time customer, I'm proud to make secure banking accessible to all of our users at Truist.
Truist is one of America’s largest financial institutions, formed through the 2019 merger of BB&T and SunTrust. I opened my first student accounts with BB&T in 2015, and I’ve since witnessed the evolution of its services over the past decade.
My work with Truist has shaped my passion for designing financial services that not only uplift communities and build resilience, but also protect people against the vulnerabilities that can jeopardize their financial well-being.
