I'm Bhargs β a product designer shaping trust, safety, and agency within systems and communities we rely on.
Currently, I'm a Masters of Design (MDes) student and program designer @ UC Berkeley. I design + ship products across fintech, compute infrastructure and education, turning complex products into experiences people can trust.
Most recently, I scaled biometric logins for +15 million folks @ Truist Bank.
Previously, I designed for Thunder Compute (YC W24), Develop for Good, Union Pacific Railroadβs accident simulation subsidiary, and studied design @ Georgia Tech.
Truist Bank β£ Identity & Security
I designed Truistβs first-ever rollout of passkey sign-ins, and launched an initiative to create and scale our internal authentication design system to 20+ internal teams.
Itβs nice to meet you.
Hi, Iβm Bhargs, pronounced like βbarksβ, short for Bhargavi (Bar-guh-vee).
My love for design began during childhood, helping my mom make little trinkets to decorate our home. I fell into design wanting to serve and create a safe internet.
Beyond that, I own a small business, making and selling handmade artwork: ceramics, stained glass, clothing, anything that comes to mind.
