I'm Bhargs — a product designer exploring what trust and safety means for digital & physical experiences.

Currently, I'm a Masters of Design (MDes) student and program designer @ UC Berkeley, exploring how speculative design and product thinking can reshape trust and safety in our digital lives.

Most recently, I scaled biometric logins for +15 million folks @ Truist Bank.

Previously @ Thunder Compute (YC W24), Develop for Good, Union Pacific Railroad’s accident simulation subsidiary, and studied design @ Georgia Tech.

 

Truist ⊹ Scaling passkey & biometric sign-ins

I designed Truist’s first-ever rollout of passkey sign-ins, and launched an internal initiative to create and scale our internal authentication design system to 20+ internal teams.

 
 
GPU Cloud Startup ⊹ 500k from Y Combinator

Designed GPU compute infrastructure that enables AI and ML at scale. Took Thunder from an idea to initial MVP that got YC funding.

6+ years in research and design.

I’ve designed my whole life, teaching myself traditional paper media and textile-based art-forms, and learned of digital design as a career in undergrad. My prior background in pre-medicine laid the foundation for my curiosity to explore the intersectionality of psychology and product design. I’ve always been a self starter in any team I’ve worked in, never afraid to learn new things. I find passion in designing products that protect people’s data, safety and privacy. I'm always creating, whether for work or fun.
